WRIF TIX ON SALE!
JOHN SAYLES TO OPEN WRIF '12!
Indie film giant John Sayles will bring his new film, AMIGO, to White River Indie Films' 2012 Festival at the Tupelo Music Hall, April 27. It'll be your chance to meet and greet a major figure in independent filmmaking.
Sayles's AMIGO screening will be an area premiere for this latest work by a legendary filmmaker who got started with the ground-breaking RETURN OF THE SECAUCUS SEVEN and has worked inside and outside of Hollywood for more than thirty years. Sayles, along with his producer and collaborator, Maggie Renzi, will be at WRIF as our guests of honor. There'll be ample opportunities to discuss film and filmmaking with this fascinating pair. WRIF will open the festival weekend with the screening, plus a Q&A and reception for John and Maggie.
John and Maggie will be taking part in panels on Saturday and John will read from his new novel A Moment In The Sun.
WRIF'S NEW DEAL
You can buy tickets for WRIF films one at a time.
You can buy an all-access pass ($75) that opens doors all over WRIF: the gala, plus every film, workshop, panel, and party is yours.
And this year, we have a new way to go: the WRIF Hat Trick pass -- a $25 ticket gets you into any three (count 'em - 3) movies. (Excluding the gala. Sorry.)
