Vermont Community Access Media (VCAM) is a non profit community media and technology center located in the south end of Burlington, Vermont. VCAM’s mission is to provide local citizens with access to and training with state-of-the-art digital video tools as a means of personal, political and artistic self expression. VCAM operates a public access cable channel, providing equipment and facility rentals and channel time to any VCAM user, for any non-commercial purpose, free of charge.
VCAM members can sign out digital video cameras, microphones, monitors, video lights and many other field production tools and can reserve time in our fully-equipped 3-camera studio or our digital editing suites, featuring the latest video/audio editing, graphics and compositing software. We also offer a series of free introductory workshops focusing on specific video tools and techniques as well as hands on, one-on-one training.
VCAM’s staff of media experts can help you with any number of digital video technical questions from the very simple to the maddeningly complex. VCAM can help you use digital video to get your message out there, regardless of your experience level.
